According to the latest news of Web of Science, Clarivate Analytics on July 26, 2022, in the 2023 release of the Journal Citation Report™, all Web of Science Core Collection™ journals will receive a Journal Impact Factor (JIF)™. This means expanding the JIF from Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE)™ and Social Science Citation Index (SSCI)™ to include journals from the Arts and Humanities Citation Index (AHCI)™ and the multidisciplinary Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)™.
Since 2019, the Journal of Young Pharmacists has been indexed by the Emerging Sources Citation Index TM (ESCI)TM. Accordingly, JYP will attain its first impact factor in June 2023 based on the above-mentioned changes to the Journal Citation Reports for 2023. Not only will it mark a new milestone for JYP, but it will also serve as an encouragement to all JYP supporters.
